Tim Shepherd and Alys Jones appointed Partners in the RPC Professional & Financial Risk practice

International law firm RPC announced today that Tim Shepherd joins the London Professional & Financial Risks practice as Partner, with Alys Jones joining the partnership on 3 June 2024.

Tim Shepherd is a seasoned solicitor-advocate specialising in professional liability disputes and professional regulatory and disciplinary matters. With a focus on high-value, complex cases, Tim's practice caters to major brands in the professional services arena, with an international scope spanning the UK, US and Europe. Tim's expertise lies in defending claims against professional firms and individuals, in particular solicitors, barristers, accountants, insolvency practitioners and pension professionals. Tim has a notable reputation for defending/resolving intricate claims related to substantial property, corporate and financing transactions, as well as disputes involving pensions, trusts and tax matters. Tim also frequently advises insurers on policy coverage issues. 

Alys Jones is an experienced litigator who specialises in defending claims against a range of professionals, particularly accountants and auditors, insolvency practitioners, tax professionals and lawyers. She handles a spectrum of complex cases involving corporate transactions, tax matters, and insolvencies. Alys also counsels professional firms and individuals on regulatory responsibilities and disciplinary proceedings and supports insurers on policy issues.
