Three RPC insurance partners announced as winners of Client Choice Awards 2018

Insurance partners Gavin Reese, Paul Castellani, and Antony Sassi recognised for excellent client care and service quality

RPC, the City-headquartered professional services firm, is delighted that three partners in its insurance team have been named as winners of the Client Choice Awards 2018, in which clients nominate partners and firms in recognition for their high standards of service.

Gavin Reese was awarded the accolade in the Product Liability category, Paul Castellani won the award in the Professional Negligence category, and Antony Sassi was recognised in the Hong Kong Insurance category.

The Client Choice Awards recognise “law firm partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service”. There is a particular focus on the ability to add real value to client businesses above and beyond others in the market.

Nominations for the awards can only be made by claims professionals or internal counsel and therefore reflect the views of clients, rather than being based on law firms' own submissions. In granting the award, Client Choice said they have found all three Partners “to be worthy winners based on excellent reviews from clients.”

This year over 2,500 nominations were received for the awards, which are run by the International Law Office and Lexology, the daily legal newsfeed.

This is the second year running that Gavin Reese has won a Client Choice award – in 2017 he also received Insurance Partner of the Year award.

Gavin heads up RPC’s Liability team, specialising in General Liability, Product Liability and Health & Safety, with nearly 30 years’ experience advising insurers and corporate clients. As well as extensive expertise in policy coverage issues, his broad range of liability work includes stress and catastrophic injury claims.

Paul Castellani was nominated by professional services firms and insurers for his outstanding work on professional indemnity defence work. He has particular experience advising on complex and multi-party claims.

Antony Sassi is a leading litigator in the Hong Kong insurance market, and specialises in professional indemnity, property and business interruption, and product liability. As well as Hong Kong, Antony has worked on large scale disputes in London and China.
