RPC's latest promotion round sees three new partners join the firm's global partnership
Law firm RPC is pleased to announce that it has promoted three lawyers into the partnership, with effect from 1 November.
- Three lawyers across the London, Bristol and Singapore offices promoted to RPC's partnership
- Brings the tally to a total of 18 new RPC partners globally in 2020, the largest promotion round in any given year across all four offices (London, Bristol, Singapore and Hong Kong)
The individuals are:
- Zoe Eastell, Construction Insurance, Bristol
- Chris Brierley, Corporate, London
- Summer Montague, Property and Casualty International, Singapore

Zoe Eastell – Construction Insurance - Bristol
Zoe is a partner in the firm's insurance group. She specialises in defending claims against construction professionals including architects, engineers, project managers, surveyors and design and build contractors. She has handled in recent years a number of high value complex disputes for the firm's Construction Insurance practice which is headed by partner Alan Stone. Zoe's expertise covers all forms of dispute resolution including litigation, adjudication, mediation and arbitration. She also regularly advises on complex policy coverage disputes, including disputes arising from professional indemnity and CAR insurance policies. Zoe is as an excellent technical lawyer, who prides herself on providing clear, commercial and strategic advice.
Chris Brierley – Corporate – London
Chris is a corporate partner at RPC. He has a broad corporate practice and is experienced in private M&A, private equity, investments in unlisted companies and joint ventures. Chris supports clients across a range of sectors, but with an emphasis on private equity and (more recently) insurance sector transactions. 2020 has been a busy year for Chris and the team, with Chris involved in deals in the financial services, consumer products and insurance sectors.
Summer Montague – Property and Casualty International – Singapore
Summer is an insurance and reinsurance partner in RPC's Singapore office. Summer specialises in advising on complex regional coverage issues arising from property, engineering and construction; as well as liability claims with a particular focus on product liability; cyber cover and professional liability involving construction professionals. Summer has helped develop RPC's award-winning ReSecure cyber incident response service in Singapore and advises on legal issues arising from cyber security incidents and complex IT claims (software and mobile technology) across the globe.
