RPC appoints Zoe Mernick-Levene as Partner
International law firm RPC announced today that contentious competition lawyer Zoe Mernick-Levene joins as a Partner.
Zoe is a widely recognised expert in competition law, with a decade of experience in high-value, complex, and multi-jurisdictional competition, financial, and regulatory claims. She has a distinguished track record in acting on behalf of consumers, investors, and other stakeholders in high-profile collective actions, particularly within the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT).
Prior to joining RPC, Zoe served as a Partner and Head of Competition at Leigh Day. Zoe’s expertise in opt-out collective actions and environmental claims will significantly enhance the RPC contentious competition and ESG offerings.
Geraldine Elliott, Head of Commercial Disputes at RPC, remarked: "Zoe's extensive experience and proven ability to build and lead innovative legal practices make her an invaluable addition to our team. Her deep technical knowledge and client-focused approach align perfectly with our strategic goals. We are confident that Zoe will play a pivotal role in the further growth of our contentious competition practice and delivering exceptional results for RPC and our clients."
Commenting on her move to RPC, Zoe said: "I'm thrilled to join RPC and be part of its dynamic platform. RPC's commitment to excellence and innovative legal solutions resonate with my own values. I look forward to collaborating with the talented team here and leveraging my expertise to further strengthen our competition litigation capabilities."
Zoe brings with her Water Cases, the collective action against several major water companies that alleges overcharging of customers by misreporting the number of pollution incidents to their regulators.
