International law firm RPC has advised production house MOB in its acquisition by 54, a global sport and entertainment agency to strengthen its content creation capabilities.

Award-winning MOB has worked with household brands in the UK and overseas and is the trusted content partner for Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton. It received global acclaim for its production work on the groundbreaking Ring of Fire promotional video for the historic Tyson Fury - Oleksandr Usyk heavyweight championship boxing match and worked with the McLaren F1 team for its Ayrton Senna livery reveal, content which has broken all viewership records across McLaren’s social media platforms.

The RPC deal team was led by Partner and Head of the Japan Desk, Nigel Collins with support from Associate Phoebe Nowell-Usticke

John Brocklehurst, MOB Managing Director remarks: "We are thrilled that RPC enabled us to partner with 54, a company that exemplifies the full potential of sport. Our collaboration on projects like the Aramco Team Series, Oman’s Football Fan Festival, and the LIV Golf International Series has shown us the exceptional 54 passion and commitment. We believe this partnership will be game-changing for the sporting landscape and eagerly anticipate the future.

"We all extend a huge thank you to Nigel and his team who expertly guided us through the process as we embark on our next chapter."

Nigel Collins adds: "We are delighted to have advised MOB on this significant acquisition by 54. This partnership not only enhances the capabilities of 54 but sets a new benchmark in the sport and entertainment industry. We look forward to seeing the innovative content and opportunities this collaboration will bring to the global sporting community."
