RPC advises Bishop Street Underwriters on strategic UK insurance sector acquisition

International law firm RPC has advised Bishop Street Underwriters (Bishop Street), a portfolio company of RedBird Capital Partners, on the completion of its acquisition of Landmark Underwriting, a specialty-focused managing general agent (MGA) in the London insurance market.

This acquisition marks Bishop Street’s first expansion outside of North America, strengthening its platform’s underwriting capabilities across the UK, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The deal continues Bishop Street’s rapid growth strategy in the global specialty (re)insurance market.
