International law firm RPC eyes up expansion as Bristol office marks 10th birthday
• Office opened in 2012 with 28 staff, including six Partners and 11 other lawyers
• Has grown ten-fold in 10 years with more than 250 staff, including 16 Partners and 87 other lawyers
Opening in 2012 with six Partners, 11 other lawyers and 28 people in total, today RPC's office in Bristol has grown ten-fold and numbers more than 250 personnel, including 16 Partners and 87 other lawyers.
Alongside a burgeoning and vibrant workforce of high-quality people, the team has broadened its remit from initially focusing on complex professional indemnity work to now servicing clients across a range of key disciplines, including professional and financial risks, construction, cyber, general liability, medical and life sciences, property and casualty, real estate, employment and technology, media and telecoms.
Working arm-in-arm with RPC's offices in London and Asia, the Bristol office is a critical part of the overall service offered to clients and has been integral to the significant growth the firm has achieved over the last 10 years.
Reflecting this success, the team has recently moved into larger premises at Bridgewater House, located in the heart of Bristol's city centre, with a firm eye on its continuing expansion.
Managing Partner James Miller said: "RPC can be rightfully proud of all that has been achieved in Bristol over the last decade. Ten years ago, we expanded in response to the growing appetite among our clients for quality service outside of London. Our vision was to provide the same collaboration, commitment and client-centric thinking that RPC has built its reputation on, at the same time as offering greater choice and flexibility for our clients.
"Fast forward ten years and we not only achieved this ambition, but have gone beyond. And we couldn't have done it without our clients. We are grateful for their support throughout this exciting journey and look forward to continuing to work with them in the years to come.
"As we embark on the next ten years, we are committed to building on our success and have bold plans ahead, beginning with larger office space in Bridgewater House and even greater investment to continue our growth story into the next decade and beyond."
