Sophie is RPC's Environment and Climate Change Lead, advising clients on a broad range of environmental, regulatory, commercial and consumer matters, with a particular focus on environmental sustainability. She advises on issues including compliance with environmental regulations; greenwashing risk and liability; supply chain sustainability; and corporate sustainability reporting. She has a recent Masters in Environmental Law and Policy.

"I specialise in Retail & Consumer and TMT. I hugely enjoy the fast paced nature of these sectors – they are continually evolving and throw up really interesting legal questions, particularly around sustainability, which I enjoy helping our clients to navigate! I also love the products that our clients are creating in these spaces so it's a privilege to be able to support them in developing and delivering these.

ESG and environmental matters are typically cross-border so I always view them through an international lense when advising clients. Through the firm's international reach, and membership of the TerraLex network, we help clients to understand how their UK legal obligations fit into the broader patchwork of global ESG legal requirements.
