Simon specialises in intellectual property, commercial litigation, tech disputes, sports law and related matters. He acts on behalf of a range of clients including sports organisations and governing bodies, businesses operating in the leisure and retail sectors, and high-net-worth individuals.

“I have a keen eye for detail and am passionate about the areas I specialise in.”

“My work spans several key sectors. Tech-related matters involve navigating the fast-moving nature of the sector and tackling its complex legal challenges. I also help businesses to protect and commercialise their innovations, ensuring they remain competitive in a rapidly changing landscape. My retail and consumer work is very much about understanding retail clients' needs, resolving issues, and setting up robust legal processes that drive success..  As for commercial and financial disputes, my work there focuses on developing litigation strategies, guiding clients through difficulties, and reaching beneficial resolutions.

I have experience of working on cross-border disputes, where I have successfully collaborated with and instructed over-seas lawyers on multi-jurisdiction matters and arranged the service of proceedings overseas.

I always maintain a clear focus on the bigger picture and have in mind a litigation strategy to reach a successful outcome. I have a keen eye for detail and am passionate about the areas I specialise in. I go the extra mile to deliver excellent work and solutions-driven advice.

Beyond strong legal knowledge and written skills, I focus on understanding a client’s business in order to provide clear, direct, and tailored advice. I would like to think that my clients find me personable and easy to deal with.

Simon’s recent work highlights:

Women's Professional Leagues – Advising Women’s Professional Leagues Limited and the 23 clubs in the Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship, on the deal to transfer ownership and operation of the competitions to them from The FA.
