‘I work with clients on data breach, data protection and tech related matters across a number of different industries. The thing I enjoy most about this is that no two clients are ever the same. I love that. It keeps me curious.

Our breach response offering also involves incidents spanning across a range of different jurisdictions, both across Europe and beyond. Data is rarely confined to one place. The result is that we deal with incidents that touch on a very large number of jurisdictions globally. This can prompt urgent advice from our international offices as well as a large number of overseas firms. It’s a great part of the job, because it allows you to foster close connections quickly. Working with people, whether it's clients, colleagues, vendors or overseas counsel is something that I really enjoy about being a lawyer.  Collaboration is at the heart of what we do in so many ways. 

One of the most important things to me is that the client is happy. On the cases I deal with, you need to understand the client's needs, resources, and overall position very quickly. To reach these goals, you need efficiency, communication, and dedication. Those things are at the heart of my work.

I like to think I'm an approachable person that is easy to get along with. That tends to make things easier. Outside of that, my approach is all about managing expectations, listening to the client's needs and understanding their internal pressures and responsibilities. They can trust me to get the job done in the way that works for them - and smile whilst doing it.
