“Prior to RPC, I worked in the litigation department of a large insurer for eleven years and at a private firm for two years.  In those 13 years I was mostly defending RTA claims including vehicle damage, vehicle hire, and personal injury.  I also spent some time managing public liability and employers' liability injury claims, including noise induced hearing loss.  Throughout that time, I had a particular interest in procedure, and low value fraud and exaggeration. 

Since joining RPC in late 2022 I have focused on defending claims made against solicitors and I love the variety of law that exposes me to.  I continue to enjoy claims that have an undercurrent of fraud or personal injury and I particularly enjoy addressing a knotty procedural element.

Clients appreciate that I can get to grips with the crux of an issue quickly and can apply the detail and explain relevant legal principles in an easily digestible manner. I also try to view everything in the context of the commercial realities of a client’s reputation and an insurer’s indemnity spend.
