“Every media case is unique, but they almost always involve challenging issues of principle.”

“I’m passionate about protecting freedom of speech and love the variety of work that crosses my desk. Every media case is unique, but they almost always involve challenging issues of principle and questions about where to draw the line.

I aim to combine technical expertise and a focus on detail with pragmatic and thoughtful advice.  I've spent time on secondment at national newspapers and broadcasters, which has been an invaluable experience.

I care about getting the best results for clients and work hard to achieve that - this often requires keeping a cool head and making good judgment calls.

Strong client relationships matter to me. I strive to understand a client's business, but also the people behind it. I believe effective communication is about listening as much as it’s about advising - a collaborative approach leads to the best outcomes.”

Nadia’s recent work highlights:

Acted for the Bureau of Investigative Journalism in the defence of a libel claim brought by Jusan Technologies Limited.

Acted for Times Media Limited and The Bureau of Investigative Journalism in successfully opposing a third-party disclosure application which risked jeopardising confidential journalistic sources.

Spent over 18 months on secondment to Channel 4, advising on legal and regulatory risk in high-profile documentaries and other contentious programming.
