Karen is an experienced litigator with extensive experience in advising insurers on high value and complex property damage claims including subrogated recoveries, construction disputes, subsidence, product liability, and fine art losses. Karen is an associate member of the Art Lawyers Association and has a keen interest in art law.

Acted for insurers settling at mediation a high value, complex dispute arising from a fire. The matter involved a complex PFI contractual arrangement and equally complex electrical design issues.
Acted for insurers in settling a claim using ADR in relation to damage caused by an ingress of water following the defective installation of a roof.
Successfully made a recovery of damages to the limit of the third party's liability for damage to a Damian Hurst original cabinet which fell from a wall causing the cabinet to be destroyed, due to defective installation.
