“Tech and media are fascinating sectors. I'm very engaged with all issues that impact online platforms - the breadth and scale of what they are facing is huge and multi-layered. I also really enjoy my involvement in retail - I love the lookalikes work, and am constantly working towards translating the slightest iterative change in the law to the advantage of our clients operating in this area.

My day job is to be both on top of and in the weeds of every key development, case, legal or news report, speech, blog or social media post - including the geopolitical elements thereof - that would impact our clients. I'm niche, but in my area I'm a proper "expert” - and a very experienced communicator with an excellent network formed over years spent fee earning and with a large digitial content provider.

I attend meetings with clients when and where it's called for - I'm there to provide a detailed knowledge of the law and practical insight into what's on the horizon legally. I think it gives comfort to clients to have that information accessible in the moment, as opposed to it following days later in a letter of advice.”
