“The majority of my work is international in nature. Typically, I’m acting either for clients based in other jurisdictions or in disputes relating to issues or assets outside the UK. I was formerly based in our Hong Kong office and continue to work closely with colleagues there and in Singapore and commonly act for clients from across Asia. Given my experience in the financial services industry and RPC's unique position as a full-service law firm able to act against the large investment banks, I often assist such clients in matters adverse to those institutions. As disputes lawyers, we’re often working with clients in very demanding situations where there is a significant amount on the line. It’s therefore essential that I bring rigour and complete commitment as well as technical expertise to every aspect of my work. I want our clients to recognise that we care about their challenges as much as much as they do and will give our all in pursuing their interests.

Acting for a proposed class representative in proceedings before the Competition Appeals Tribunal against six water companies in relation to their alleged abuses of a dominant position.

Acting for the Federal Republic of Nigeria in its claims against JP Morgan (for breach of the Quincecare duty) and Shell and ENI arising out of the corrupt grant of an oil prospecting licence (OPL 245). 

Acting for a listed company in proceedings arising from a regulator seeking to require the production of legally privileged documents.

Advising an asset manager in relation to the recognition and enforcement of a PRC arbitral award in England.
