“I like to get things done.”

“I work - and have worked - on a variety of matters with an international element. I have advised clients based outside of the UK on English law matters, acted for clients on multi-jurisdictional disputes, worked closely with overseas lawyers on disputes brought against our clients in their jurisdictions, and co-ordinated the provision of legal advice to clients across numerous key territories.

I'm very organised and pro-active - with a good eye for detail - alongside a keen focus on how to achieve the desired result for clients in the most sensible, commercial, and cost-effective way.

I really enjoy being part of a team and working together, and I think that comes across. It's important to me to be approachable, collaborative, and supportive to clients and colleagues alike. Plus, I like to get things done.

It's vital to listen and understand the client's priorities, what they are trying to achieve, and what they need from you to make their job easier. Picking up the phone is also often preferred to "yet another email". “

Georgia’s recent work highlights:

Provided support and strategic advice to US lawyers on the successful defence of copyright infringement claims brought in the US against two major retail brands.

Acting for Sportsdirect.com Retail Limited and others on an inquiry as to damages following an assessment of liability in an IP infringement trial.

Advising Firetrap Limited and others in respect of alleged copyright and trade mark infringement, and passing off.
