Charlotte specialises in high-value and complex commercial litigation, and has extensive trial experience in the High Court and appellate courts. Typically, she acts for major corporates, hedge funds, private equity funds, asset managers, liquidators and administrators, investors, professional services firms, banks, and high-net-worth individuals. Her particular focus is on investment banking disputes, capital markets, investment and fund management disputes, and she routinely acts against the major investment banks.  In 2021, she was recognised by Legal Week as one of the “best 25 UK women in law under 40”. Charlotte has been described as an “excellent lawyer”, and has been listed as a “Rising Star” in the Legal 500 directory for Banking Litigation in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

“I appreciate the commercial reality which our clients face while pursing or defending major claims”

My work is largely international, with disputes arising between international parties and from global operations.  This often involves co-ordinating multiple proceedings across different jurisdictions, and managing global asset-tracing and enforcement strategies.

I appreciate the commercial reality which our clients face while pursing or defending major claims. I am able to bring my experience and expertise to bear in order to navigate the dispute and achieve my clients' objectives.

I’ve been described in the directories by those I’ve worked for as "an outstanding litigator. Charlotte is clever, pragmatic, calm under pressure and has excellent judgment; the full package!"
