Chaima acts on behalf of consumers, businesses and other entities in opt-out collective proceedings within the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT). A specialist in mass group litigation, Chaima was instrumental in launching the first ‘environmental’ CPO claims in the CAT against six water companies for alleged market abuse. She also has experience of acting on behalf of groups of individuals in complex litigation in the High Court.

- Acting for a class representative against six water companies in the first 'environmental' collective action competition claims in the Competition Appeal Tribunal for alleged abuses of dominance in providing misleading information to the relevant regulatory bodies, the Environment Agency, and the Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat).
- Acting on the first opt-out competition claim brought in the UK, Gibson v. Pride Mobility.
