"It is my job to make it easy for our fee earning lawyers to ask for help and then alleviate any stress by providing timely assistance."
"I once had a conversation about geographical limit clauses for space insurance policies – I guess that makes my experience inter-galactic to some degree. Internationally I work with our Asia teams on matters which translate across jurisdictions.
When I joined the team I was told that if it's insurable we'll be acting for the insurer/insured or broker – this brings enormous variety to the work. It is my job to make it easy for our fee earning lawyers to ask for help and then alleviate any stress by providing timely assistance.
Having been practising for 15 years I know and appreciate how busy lawyers are. I make sure they know I am available, stick to agreed deadlines, provide clear and concise responses and pop time in the diary to discuss if necessary but always with a clear agenda."
