Security alerts
Information Security alerts will be posted here as and when necessary.
It is a common tactic for international law firms to be imitated and used by fraudsters. Such scams could include fraudulent emails, letters or phone calls that either claim to be from RPC or individuals at the firm.
Unfortunately, it is impossible for us to prevent such incidents from occurring, although this section aims to inform you of the risks and the types of scams we have been made aware of.
If you receive any communications from an email address other than @rpclegal.com, which claims to be from RPC (or any of our associated entities) or from someone who work for us, it is likely to be fraudulent. If you have received such emails, please contact us to verify the legitimacy of the communications through: https://www.rpclegal.com/contact-us/.
The Solicitors' Regulation Authority maintains a website listing some known scams involving UK law firms: https://www.sra.org.uk/alerts/. The Law Society of Singapore and The Law Society of Hong Kong also maintain similar scam alert resources on their websites.

Communications, both emails and cold calls from individuals claiming to work at RPC, or that are connected to CFAAR (the Crypto Fraud and Asset Recovery) network of which RPC is a founding member. People have been redirected to a website https://cfaar.eu/main, www.fcib.io and fundsn.co.uk which have no association with RPC and/or CFAAR and asked to log in, and in some circumstances have been asked to make payments. Such cold calls and communications are not from RPC, or from CFAAR (which is a global network for crypto fraud and asset recovery professionals).
The official CFAAR webpage is currently under construction. For more information on CFAAR see here.
