Bristol training contract

Six months will be spent in four different Insurance teams with the option to spend six months in one of our Commercial teams.  You might also have the opportunity be seconded to one of our clients as an in-house lawyer. This will give you the chance to form genuine relationships with the people behind the cases.  In addition, you may get an opportunity to spend six months of your contract seconded to our Singapore office.

We believe personal growth comes from being challenged. You’ll be given real responsibility throughout your training, but you’ll never be left to fend for yourself. Our training is award-winning. You’ll have a Supervising Partner and Associate to help you day to day, a mentor to show you the ropes, and a dedicated Early talent team to support you.

If you're shortlisted, you'll be invited to one of our assessment days in April during which we’ll get to know each other. There are a variety of exercises and, while they might be challenging, they’re also a lot of fun. You’ll meet some of our partners, lawyers and trainees and get a real feel for our unique culture.  If you're successful following the assessment day, your training contract will start two years later.
